I’m a registered nurse with a diploma in Midwifery, Psychiatry, Community, and General. I did four years of training at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town where I fell in love with Paediatrics. I took my first steps in my wonderful nursing career at The Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Rondebosch, for who I have a very soft spot.

I ventured across the pond for more experience where I became an agency nurse within Paediatric units throughout London. I managed to find a full-time position at Royal Brompton Hospital where I specialised in Paediatrics and soon got promoted to Educator. From here my passion grew as an educator and my dream was born to help new parents.

On our return from London, we took our young family to the most beautiful and tranquil area of Hermanus in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

As a mother of two beautiful girls, I understand the challenges of parenthood and I know there is nothing more important than appropriate support. I would love to share my accumulated knowledge of the past 20+ years and support expecting parents and new parents in their journey to parenthood, especially here in the Hermanus area.

I have a particular interest in newborn babies and breastfeeding support. Much-needed support and education can make such a difference in your experience from pregnancy to becoming a first-time parent.
